In 2024, I had the special honor of designing the visual identity for Community Bible Church’s REBEL Men’s Conference. This was the first large-scale men’s event I was tasked with, and it quickly became one of my favorite projects to date.

The design drew inspiration from a powerful true story: after the devastation of Hurricane Ike in 2008, one yellow house stood miraculously untouched in the midst of complete destruction. Using AI generation, I created visuals inspired by that house to capture the conference theme, “AS FOR ME…”

Paired with bold typography and strong messaging, the imagery of the house became a symbol of resilience, faith, and steadfast commitment. The theme carried across every detail, from promotional artwork and merchandise to LED graphics and take-home wooden house keepsakes, evoking a heavy, industrial style that communicated strength and stability in the face of chaos.

This project doesn’t just represent event branding; it embodies the Scripture that inspired it: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
